Philadelphia Eagles cheerleaders Arielle and Tamia bid goodbye to cheerleading with Super Bowl LIX in their bags

Super Bowl LIX meant the world to the Philadelphia Eagles team. But to their cheerleaders? It was the perfect ending to their cheerleading dream! Now, which cheerleaders are we discussing here? Two in particular - Arielle and Tamia ! With a new regular season coming up, the cheerleading roster of the Philadelphia Eagles is changing. And with Super Bowl LIX in their bags, Arielle and Tamia put a full stop to their cheerleading business! Arielle declared, “You couldn’t ask for a better outcome than that,” and Tamia, who was the brand ambassador for the Eagles, added, “We have the most passionate fans in the whole league, and to experience that on Gameday is indescribable.”

On June 10, Chris McPherson, Senior Manager, Digital Media at Philadelphia Eagles, interviewed Eagles cheerleaders Arielle and Tamia. Arielle is a Philly native and represented her native land team. She shared how proud she was, “I can’t explain what it means to represent my city and the team I’ve literally loved my whole entire life. That always made me feel closer to the organization and everything that we do.”
Tamia says language wasn’t a barrier because everyone knew dance and music Tamia, on the other hand, called coming to Philadelphia fate and did not experience any language barrier, “Despite the language barrier, they welcomed us with open arms. No matter the language, everyone knows about music and dance. That was a touch point that anybody could relate to, no matter the background. It’s almost like a universal language. That was incredible to experience.”

Arielle shared about her Super Bowl LIX experience, “It was truly great to be in New Orleans, and there were so many Eagles fans . There were definitely more Eagles fans than Chiefs fans.

As a dancer, getting to perform at the Super Bowl is indescribable. You work your whole life to be a dancer, and to perform as a dancer at the Super Bowl is such an accolade unto itself.

The energy in the stadium was so electric, it’s something I will never forget. Knowing it was the last time I was taking the field, I was emotional. You couldn’t ask for a better outcome.”
Tamia calls Philadelphia Eagles fans loyal and dedicated

Tamia talked about engaging with Eagles fans, “At autograph signings, I would get to listen to generational stories of people being Eagles fans.

I think that takes the cake, besides anything that could happen on Gameday, is just hearing how dedicated and loyal the fans are. We have the most passionate fans in the whole league, and to experience that on Gameday is indescribable.”
Arielle advises the next squad of cheerleaders never to have boundaries or limitations

Arielle’s advice for the upcoming squad of cheerleaders at the Philadelphia Eagles is, “Always push yourself, never set boundaries or limitations on what you’re able to do. This is a job, but it’s also a place for us to let our hair down and dance and come together with our teammates.”
