NEW DELHI: An Army jawan was injured on Monday during exchange of fire between the security forces and terrorists place in Jammu and Kashmir 's Sunjwan military station.
According to the official, the jawan was shot from a stand-off distance from outside the base. A search operation has been launched to locate the perpetrators.
According of new agency PTI, an army sentry opened fire after spotting a suspicious person near the garrison in the outskirts of the city.
The officials also told that the area was immediately cordoned off by the army and the Special Operations Group (SOG) of the local police.
Earlier in February 2018, the terrorists attacked the Sunjawan military camp resulting in the killing of six soldiers, a civilian and three terrorists.
