DIBRUGARH: Waris Punjab De chief and Lok Sabha MP Amritpal Singh has been served a fresh detention order under the National Security Act at Dibrugarh Central Jail, extending his incarceration by another year , reports Rajib Dutta. His current two-year detention is set to expire on April 22. The order was delivered to Singh Friday.
As per the order, Amritpal retains the right to appeal the detention within three weeks from April 23. He can file appeals with Punjab govt, NSA advisory board, and the Centre.
