'Bones of his neck were broken ... ': Father of Class 2 boy killed in 'human sacrifice' to bring glory to school

NEW DELHI: Father of the Class 2 boy, who was killed in 'human sacrifice' in Uttar Pradesh's Hathras, has claimed that the school authorities kept misleading him before telling the truth about his child's death. He said his son was strangled to death, the bones of his neck were broken, and later the body was found in the school director's car.


While narrating the incident, Kishan Kushwaha told news agency ANI said, "I got a call from the school manager in the morning who told me that my child's health was very bad ... They kept misleading me. After one and a half hours, the body of my son was found with Dinesh Baghel . My son's bag was also in his car and Dinesh Baghel was in an inebriated state at that time. Another person involved in this, Lakshman Singh, was not present in the car at that time," Kushwaha said.

"My son was strangled to death and the bones of his neck were broken. I want the culprits to be hanged and my son to get justice . My son has been studying in that school for around 4 years and over 500 students study in the same school. I do not think that sacrifice or black magic is done in the school. The real reason behind this should be investigated and I want to request the CM that SIT should be formed," he added.


The Class 2 student who was killed in his school hostel in Hathras earlier this week was ‘sacrificed' as part of a black magic ritual to bring success and fame to the school, police said on Thursday, adding that five people, including the director of the school and three teachers, have been arrested in the case.

Meanwhile, Hathras basic education officer wrote a letter to SP Hathras and other officials demanding the registration of an FIR against Dinesh Baghel, director of DL Public School for "illegally running a residential school from classes 1 to 8 whereas the department had granted recognition only for classes 1 to 5."

The school has around 600 students and the hostel where the boy was killed houses kids from Class 1 to 5.
