Reliance Digital announces 2x refund policy on iPhone 16 pre-orders

Apple unveiled the iPhone 16 series at ‘It’s Glowtime’ event on September 9 with pre-order starting last week. Days later, Reliance Digital has announced a 2x refund policy on pre-orders of iPhone 16 lineup.

"We are thrilled with the overwhelming response to the iPhone 16, and we want to assure our customers that Reliance Digital is ready to deliver on its promises. Our top priority is customer satisfaction, and with our 2X refund policy, we are setting a new benchmark in service standards," said a spokesperson from Reliance Digital.

Those looking to buy the new iPhone 16 series can visit Reliance Digital stores across the country or shop online. The company further added that the pre-bookings for iPhone 16 series at Reliance Digital has doubled compared to the previous year’s figures.

“This year has seen heightened enthusiasm for the iPhone 16, with pre-bookings at Reliance Digital doubling compared to the previous year’s figures. Despite the significant surge in demand, the company is fully prepared to meet all pre-booking commitments and walk-in customers, ensuring a seamless experience for every customer,” it said.

Apple iPhone 16 series features

• Apple iPhone 16 series display: iPhone 16 features a 6.1-inch Retina XDR OLED display, while the Plus model has a bigger 6.7-inch Retina XDR OLED screen. Apple has increased the screen size of iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max to 6.3-inch and 6.9-inch Retina XDR OLED screens.
• Apple iPhone 16 series colours: Apple iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus come in Black, White, Pink, Teal and Ultramarine colour variants. While the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max are offered in Black Titanium, White Titanium, Natural Titanium and Desert Titanium colour variants.
• Apple iPhone 16 series camera: Both iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max are equipped with a 48MP Fusion camera on the rear paired with a 48MP ultra-wide camera and a 12MP telephoto camera. Users can capture 4K120 fps in Slo-mo or Video mode, and adjust the playback speed after capture in the Photos app. While the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus offer 48MP Fusion camera and 12MP ultra-wide camera on the rear. The Ultra Wide camera gathers up to 2.6x more light for higher image quality. Additionally, iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus now take spatial photos and videos. All four phones under the iPhone 16 series boast of a 12MP TrueDepth camera at the front for selfies and video calls.
• Apple iPhone 16 series performance: Apple iPhone 16 series will run on iOS 18 operating system. The iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus are powered by A18 Bionic chipset which is claimed to come with an upgraded 16-core Neural Engine, optimized for large generative models and runs ML models up to 2x faster than the A16 Bionic chip. While the Pro models – iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max are equipped with A18 Pro chipset with 6-core GPU, which is up to 20 percent faster than the previous generation, driving graphics rendering for Apple Intelligence and stunning visuals for gaming.
