Indie Game Utsav and Comic Con India have launched have launched their first-ever Steam sale featuring more than 110 Indian-made and Indian-origin PC games with discounts up to 80 percent. The Comic Con X Indie Game Utsav Steam Sale runs from April 10-20, 2025, and will be featured on Steam's global frontpage during its final weekend. This collaboration marks a significant milestone as for the first time, Indian-made games will receive premium visibility on Steam from April 18-20, exposing Indian developers to an international audience.
The online sale coincides with Indie Game Utsav's physical debut at Mumbai Comic Con 2025 , where over 40 PC and console indie games will be showcased at the Jio World Convention Centre on April 12-13. The event is supported by major industry players including Intel, Xbox, Xsolla, Specter, and Nodwin Gaming , with IGDA India serving as the community partner.
"This Steam Sale is our way of giving Indian games a wider audience," said Avichal Singh, Co-Founder of Nodding Heads Games and Project Director of Indie Game Utsav. Akshat Rathee, Co-Founder of NODWIN Gaming, added, "We've always believed that Indian indie game creators have something truly special to offer, and their games deserve to be in the hands of more players."
Featured titles include popular games like Bao Bao's Cozy Laundromat, Fears to Fathom , Kurukshetra, Raji: An Ancient Epic , The Palace on the Hill, and Kamla. The sale also spotlights upcoming Indian titles available for wishlisting, including Abashed, Appa, Detective Dotson, Fishbowl, Frontier Paladin, and Mukti.
