Cloudflare CEO Matthew Prince has started an online discussion after posting a screenshot of spam email offering to buy his company for $54 million. Prince shared a post on X (earlier known as Twitter) in which he questioned weather CEOs of Apple , Microsoft , Nvidia , and Meta—including Tim Cook, Satya Nadella, Jensen Huang, and Mark Zuckerberg—still receive similar unsolicited buyout messages. For those unaware, Cloudflare posted a $1.4 billion in revenue. The company deals in cybersecurity , cloud networking and AI infrastructure.

Sharing the screenshot Prince said, “At what size company do you think you stop getting these spam messages? Like do you think Tim Cook, Satya Nadella, Jensen Huang, Mark Zuckerberg still get them?”
This led him to wonder if the CEOs of other major tech companies, such as Apple's Tim Cook, Microsoft's Satya Nadella, Nvidia's Jensen Huang, and Meta 's Mark Zuckerberg, also receive such unsolicited emails.
‘You really think people at the top…’ commented usersPrince’s post quickly went viral and users started debating that whether the top executives personally see such emails or if their assistants filter them out. Some users also joked that billion-dollar companies aren’t immune to spam, while others suggested Prince should reply and play along for entertainment.
“You really think people at the top read their emails? They are read by an assistant who cherry picks the most relevant emails and sometimes sprinkles in reality as long as it's not too jarring,” commented a user.
“Any company that gives you an assistant, that prints out important emails on paper for you to read. (or beams them to you in any other agreed manner),” posted another user.
