NEW DELHI: Sunrisers Hyderabad kept their pride intact with a commanding six-wicket victory over Lucknow Super Giants at the Ekana Cricket Stadium on Monday. Chasing 206, SRH made light work of the target, riding on a blazing 20-ball 59 from Abhishek Sharma and a composed 47 off 28 from Heinrich Klaasen to secure their fourth win of the season.
The loss officially knocked Lucknow Super Giants out of the IPL 2025 playoff race. With just five wins from 12 matches, LSG’s campaign has come to a disappointing halt, despite a spirited effort with the bat earlier in the evening.
