Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Abhira refuses to marry Armaan leaving the Poddars in shock

In Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Armaan and Abhira are currently separated. They were set to marry, but Abhira's medical report indicated that she was unable to conceive, ending Armaan's ambition of becoming a parent. Kaveri asks him to choose between his dream and love.

In today's episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Vidya exposes Abhira's (Samridhii Shukla) medical report, shocking everyone. She cancels Armaan (Rohit Purohit) and Abhira's wedding, arguing that they will be unable to carry on the Poddar lineage due to Abhira's inability to conceive. She also asks Armaan if he wants to adopt a baby and offers him the same treatment that he experienced. Abhira is extremely surprised by all of this. Sanjay Bansal steps in and starts harassing Abhira. He goes on to state that she is an orphan who poses a challenge to the Poddar family.

Kaveri also asks Armaan about his aspirations and whether he is willing to give up everything for Abhira. Manish Goenka then takes Abhira out from the Poddar residence.

In a fresh precap doing the rounds of entertainment news, Abhira is shown imprisoned in a room and wailing. She claims that she does not deserve family love or happiness. Armaan, on the other hand, is highly restless and wishes to speak with Abhira. He video-calls her and suggests that they meet to iron out everything. Abhira claims there is nothing to discuss. Armaan then asks her about their forthcoming wedding.

Abhira refuses to marry him because she believes he will have to give up his goal for her. Later, Armaan requests that everyone cease planning the wedding because Abhira has refused to marry. Vidya, Kaveri, and the others are taken aback by Abhira's decision, but Ruhi smiles. She feels triumphant since her nefarious schemes worked. She is in love with Armaan and wishes to marry him at any cost.
