The ad very subtly and suggestively conveyed the pilot and airhostess having sex while actually risking the lives of the passengers.

The ad also suggested that the autopilot mode was introduced by airlines just so that the crew members could indulge in such activities. As Genelia makes her comeback on screen after a while with 'Sitaare Zameen Par', this ad has now gone viral on Reddit. A user shared a photo of the commercial and wrote, "The ad of Genelia and Virat was so controversial that it got banned within its release."

The video was reportedly banned as it showed people's lives being put in danger for the sake of rumour. The aviation professionals also took offence and felt it was disrespectful to their industry and many pilots and air hostesses. The ad was instantly banned from Indian television but still exists on Youtube.
