According to a Mid-day report, an official said, "The Maharashtra Cyber had summoned Samay Raina and Ranveer Allahbadia for the third time on Tuesday to record their statements. Both appeared at the Maharashtra Cyber office to record their statements."
For the unversed, India’s Got Latent recently found itself at the center of controversy following an episode featuring popular creators Ranveer Allahbadia, Apoorva Mukhija, Samay Raina, and Ashish Chanchlani. The backlash began after Ranveer Allahbadia and Apoorva Mukhija made ‘derogatory’ remarks during the episode, sparking widespread criticism and even leading to multiple FIRs being filed.

In the aftermath, both Ranveer and Apoorva revealed that they had received disturbing death threats through social media and other online platforms. Apoorva also took to Instagram to share screenshots of some of the messages she received—many of which included threats of violence, sexual assault, and acid attacks. In her post, she noted that the screenshots represented only a fraction of the hate and abuse she has endured since the episode went viral.
