Actress Simaran Kaur, known for her endearing performances in popular television shows like Agnifera, Aghori, Aggar Tum Na Hote and currently seen in the show Jamai No. 1, recently opened up about the furry love of her life—her pet Cherry.
Simaran shared, “I have always been an animal lover, but my bond with pets truly deepened when Cherry came into my life. She is a Shih Tzu and is 5 years old now, and we share an incredibly special connection. She is not just my pet; she is family.”
Simaran, who has captured hearts with her expressive acting and girl-next-door charm, revealed how having a pet has transformed her life. “Having Cherry in my life has been a blessing. She brings me so much joy, comfort, and unconditional love. No matter how stressful or hectic my day is, coming home to her instantly lifts my mood. She has taught me patience, responsibility, and the true meaning of companionship,” she said.
Describing Cherry's daily routine, Simaran, “Cherry is always excited when I return home. She waits near the door, wagging her tail with so much excitement, and the moment I step in, she jumps on me, showering me with love. That warm welcome makes my entire day better. It’s one of the best feelings in the world.”
The actress also highlighted how her parents share a strong bond with Cherry. “When I’m not at home, my parents take care of her. They love her a lot. She’s truly become a part of our family,” she noted.
When asked if she would recommend having a pet, Simaran said, “Absolutely! If someone has the time, love, and commitment to take care of a pet, they should definitely experience this bond. Pets bring so much happiness and positivity into our lives. But it’s also a lifelong commitment, so one should adopt a pet only if they can truly care for them. For me, Cherry is more than a pet—she is my constant source of happiness and comfort!”
