Tatanagar-Patna Vande Bharat gets grand welcome in Bokaro

Bokaro: A large number of people celebrated the arrival of the Tatanagar-Patna Vande Bharat Express at Bokaro station under Adra Division, following its inauguration by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday. The crowd included local residents, prominent citizens, and enthusiastic students.

A railway officer stated, “To mark this occasion, several cultural programmes, including performances by Scouts and Guides, and local school students, were organised.” The engaging presentations added a special touch to the occasion.

Schools in Bokaro organized essay and painting competitions on the theme ‘Contribution of Engineering in the Development of Railways’. Khagendra Nath Ghosh, the additional divisional railway manager of Adra, presented awards to the winners during a ceremony held in Bokaro.

Later, railway officials and public representatives jointly flagged off the train for its onward journey

Jaidev Rai, the district BJP president, said the train would considerably improve connectivity and bring substantial economic benefits to the region. Sanjay Tyagi, a BJP member, shared similar views, underscoring crucial role of this new train service in promoting local development and making travel more convenient for residents.
