New Delhi: A retired Delhi High Court employee who was taking a treatment for anxiety allegedly killed himself by jumping off the roof of a private hospital in Delhi's Dwarka, said the police on Saturday. The man was 63-year-old, and had been dealing with stress and depression that led him to seek help from the professionals. The incident took place on Friday around 8 pm when the victim reached the terrace on fourth floor of the hospital's building, and reported jumped off. The victim was rushed to the emergency room, where the doctors declares him dead. However, no suicide note was found. Police reviewed the CCTV footage, and an inquest proceeding is underway. According to the police, the victim was receiving the treatment at the hospital in Mohan Garden area.Police have launched an investigation, and is trying to find out reason that led the alleged suicide.
Delhi Doctor Murder In Delhi, an overpriced bill led to the in Kalindi Kunj lost his life over a dispute involving an of Rs 1,200. The main suspect, a 17-year-old boy, confessed to killing the doctor after feeling humiliated for refusing to pay the full amount, claiming he was being overcharged. The teenager revealed that he had visited Nima Hospital in Khadda Colony multiple times but was insulted, scolded, and denied treatment by the doctor and staff. This humiliation drove him to shoot the doctor. On Friday, Delhi Police apprehended three more juveniles in connection with the case.The incident occurred when a 16-year-old allegedly shot Dr Javed Akhtar, a Unani practitioner (BUMS), at the three-bedded Nima Hospital around 1 am. The case gained attention when the accused posted about it on Instagram, sharing an image of himself holding a pistol with the caption, "Kar diya 2024 mein murder" (Finally committed murder in 2024).
