Neil Robertson reached his first final in more than two years after defeating Chris Wakelin in the English Open semi-final, setting up a blockbuster showpiece with Chinese potter Wu Yize.
It was a dominant Saturday for both finalists as Wu whitewashed Indian star Ishpreet Singh Chadha earlier in the day, before Robertson defeated Wakelin 6-1.
The Aussie has dropped just five frames all week and has been in inspired form, returning to his very best, with the hope of sealing that upturn by winning his first ranking title since the Tour Championship in April 2022.
Robertson, now the world No. 26, also won the English Open in that same season. But he won't take Wu lightly after he knocked out defending champion Judd Trump in the quarters.
