Royal fans give their verdict on Princess Kate's £400k Wimbledon look

The Princess of Wales looked effortlessly stylish as she stepped out in a glittering ensemble at Wimbledon on Saturday, July 12. Making a solo appearance, Princess Kate attended the women's singles final of the British Championships with her signature grace and poise.

Kate, 43, a long-time tennis enthusiast and patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, chose a custom Self-Portrait dress for the occasion, paired with eye-catching jewellery.

For the first time in public, the royal was seen stacking her iconic heirloom engagement ring with the dazzling bands she has recently been wearing on her ring finger-adding a fresh twist to her classic look.

This was the first time the Princess of Wales had attended the tournament this year, and she was greeted with a standing ovation from the crowd.

The mum-of-three appeared visibly touched by the heartwarming support as she made her way to her seat in the Royal Box.

Kate's new jewellery variation did not go unnoticed, as the eye-catching stack is reported to be worth at least over £400,000, according to Hello Magazine.

Following Princess Kate's cancer diagnosis and her gradual return to work over the past few months she has swapped out her sparkling sapphire engagement ring that once belonged to Princess Diana for a sparkling understated set.

However, on Saturday onlookers spotted the dimaond and sapphire ring's return - and it is a favourite in her jewellery collection.

Kate's stack featured the blue piece along wit her first eternity ring from William, 43 after George's birth and her new sapphire and diamond eternity ring by Cartier.

Taking to X, formally known as twitter, one user wrote: "I love that the Princess of Wales wore her engagement ring it stunning."

"Princess Catherine is a our Queen at heart. She continues Diana's legacy, and so sweet she is back wearing her ring," added another.

While a third chimed in on designer frock writing, "Princess Catherine is a master of elegant dressing."
