Ninja is known for it's air fryer range, but they're some of the most expensive out there. But, based on previous customer reviews, the high price is often well worth it for their functionality. However, if you have been after a Ninja air fryer for a while, but don't fancy paying full price, Amazon has just discounted one of Ninja's top-rated appliances to under £200.
The discount even makes it cheaper than on Ninja's own website. The Ninja Double StackXL (9.5L) is currently selling for £185 on Amazon, while Ninja UK lists it at £229.99, reduced from £269. While both retailers have discounts on the Double Stack air fryer, you can save a further £44 by buying it from Amazon right now.
Amazon has labelled this model as "Amazon's Choice", and hundreds of reviewers have given it an impressive 4.7-star rating. Meanwhile, Ninja's own site shows a similar 4.3-star average, confirming its popularity among shoppers.
With Amazon's Prime Day set to kick off on July 8 and last until July 11, 2025, more bargains are on the horizon, but there's no guarantee this Ninja deal will make a reappearance.
Unlike traditional air fryers with sidebyside baskets, the Double Stack places two drawers vertically, which is handy for people with limited counter space. One customer, who left a review on the Ninja website, said: "Takes up much less space."
The six cooking programmes - including Air Fry, Roast, Bake, Dehydrate and Max Crisp - plus the Sync and Match buttons, let you cook each drawer at its own pace, or sync them up so that they finish cooking at the same time.
If we want to include this, we need to reference the exact specifics of this study. Ninja conducted an independent study and found that the air fryer used 55% less energy than a standard convection oven when cooking sausages. When cooking fish fingers and sausages, Ninja's independent study found that the air fryer cut fat by up to 75% compared to a standard convection oven.
In a review, a shopper said: "Best buy I've made in a long time. I haven't used my cooker since I bought it."
Reviewers are delighted: "Takes up much less space... Quick guide booklet is very helpful," writes one happy customer, while another user describes it as the "best buy I've made in a long time. I haven't used my cooker since I bought it."
Of course, no appliance is perfect. A few users note occasional uneven cooking - food at the back crisps more quickly - but flipping halfway through typically fixes this. Running both drawers at once can extend cooking time, and the fryer is tall (about 38cm) and weighs around 10kg, so it's best sitting in one spot.
If you're after a premium, space-saving air fryer with family-sized capacity, versatile functions and easy cleanup, this under-£200 Amazon deal is a rare bargain - especially versus Ninja's usual £269.99 price. But with no guarantee it'll return at this price, getting in early is the smart move.
Of course, spending £185 is still quite an investment, so if you want something even cheaper, we've found some affordable alternatives with positive reviews.
The Alivio 9L Dual Basket Digital Air Fryer from Debenhams, priced at £54.99 and reduced from £149.99. Unlike the Ninja Double Stack, this one has side-by-side drawers. The drawers are also slightly smaller at 9L versus the Ninja's 9.5L.
The air fryer currently has a 63% reduction and plenty of positive reviews. One customer wrote: "I bought this when it was in the sale, so it is even a better bargain. Works really well. Had a Ninja before, and they are very similar."
Another person added: "A bit complicated to start with but good once you get the swing of things. Obviously it's a a shade smaller than the Ninja and the baskets are stacked horizontally, rather than vertically, so it's not as good for space-saving.
We've also found the Lakeland Large Adjustable Drawer Air Fryer 9L, priced at £89.99, reduced from £129.99. Like the Alivio and the Ninja, it has two drawers, but what we like about this is the option to merge the dual space into one. It can be used either as a 9L cooking drawer or you can create two 4.2L compartments. It comes with eight pre-set cooking programmes and a touchscreen power pad.
One customer said: "This air fryer is fantastic-cooks quickly, has a large capacity, and the divider is super handy for making different meals at once. It's easy to clean and has replaced my oven for most meals. The only reason I'm giving it three stars is that the buttons and screen on top are tricky to access if it's placed under a cupboard. If you've got limited space, it can be a bit awkward. Otherwise, it's a great product and works like a charm!"
