Cheeky Lee Anderson has shared a stunning three-word take down nickname for Sir Keir Starmer which the Reform MP said he was sure "will stick".

Less than three months after taking office the PM has already found himself mired in accusations of taking advantage of more freebies than any recent UK Prime Minister.

Sir Keir has faced questions over gifts worth thousands of pounds in clothes and spectacles from long-time Labour supporter and wealthy businessman Waheed Alli.

The Prime Minister has insisted there was a "massive difference between declarations and corruption" as he faced questions over his alleged failure to register the high-end clothing given to his wife Lady Starmer by the prominent party donor on time.

Taking to the social media site X, Reform UK MP Lee Anderson made light of Sir Keir's tribulations posting a new potential moniker for the PM, he wrote: "Free Gear Keir." He jokingly added: "I suspect that name will stick."

Sir Keir has received more than £100,000 in freebies from donors since 2019, more than any other recent Prime Minister.

The Labour leader has accepted around £39,000 from Lord Alli since December 2019, as well as nearly £40,000 in tickets from the Premier League.

These included four Taylor Swift tickets during the election campaign worth £4,000 and thousands of pounds worth of tickets to Arsenal games.

The Prime Minister has so far been defiant over the donations when questioned about the row by reporters earlier this week, signalling he would continue to accept gifts and hospitality.

He said: "I'm a massive Arsenal fan. I can't go into the stands because of security reasons. Therefore, if I don't accept a gift of hospitality, I can't go to a game. You could say, 'well, bad luck'. That's why gifts have to be registered.

"But, you know, never going to an Arsenal game again because I can't accept hospitality is pushing it a bit far."

In another PR quandary for Number 10 it has now emerged the 'Partygate' civil servant Sue Gray, who joined Sir Keir's team as his Chief of Staff is paid more than the Prime Minister.

Ms Gray, a former senior civil servant whose report into lockdown-era parties within Downing Street contributed to the downfall of then-prime minister Boris Johnson, controversially came out as Labour supporter during the last General Election.

A BBC investigation has now found Ms Gray is paid £170,000, £3,000 more than the amount Sir Keir is remunerated for leading the country.
