One contestant on infuriated viewers so much that it led to them switching off the programme.
The show returned with a brand new episode on Monday (October 28), with presenter welcoming four players; Erika, Tom, Kim and Mark, into the studio.
First to take on was Erika, who answered four questions correctly in the cash builder round. Laying out three offers on the table, Darragh tried to tempt the 41-year-old with £20,000.
Alongside Erika's £4,000, Darragh also enticed Erika with an offer one step closer to home of £1,000. Turning to her team for advice, Mark immediately told his teammate to go for the lower offer.
"Gotta be the low offer," Mark declared. "Just get back here."
Mark recognised that his co-star had a "difficult set of questions" in the first round, suggesting the same could happen in the head-to-head.
Kim echoed Mark's thoughts, adding: "You did really well in the cash builder so whatever you're comfortable with, one or four thousand."
Leaning more towards the middle offer, Tom advised Erika to stick with the four grand, but assured her the team would "support it" if she went for the low offer.
Erika ultimately decided to choose the lower offer, telling Bradley: "I'm going to get back to the team, that's the most important thing to me, so I'm going to take the one."
Darragh supported the move as he said: "Getting the first person back sets the team up - I don't think that's a bad decision."

The same thing couldn't be said for fans, who rushed to social media to complain about Erika's decision. One fumed: "Another week, another bunch of thick players taking low offers."
"Oh sod off taking the low offer," penned a second as another wrote: "A LOW already?!"
A fourth furious viewer echoed: "And... this episode is already over. Good night." Someone else remarked: "1,000. Now I know why I stopped watching this programme! BUNCH OF COWARDS!!"
Despite going for the low offer, Erika's efforts were unfortunately not enough as she was caught by Darragh when she was two from home.
