Jamie Theakston's wife shared a two-word message of support after her husband's cancer diagnosis.
This morning, Heart FM presenter Jamie revealed he has been diagnosed with cancer in a heartbreaking Instagram post.
The 53-year-old, who recently had an operation to remove his vocal cords, confirmed doctors had discovered Stage 1 Laryngeal cancer in his body.
His wife Sophie Theakston (née Siegle) also took to social media to support her husband, with the simple message: "My man #wegotthis". The pair have been married since 2007 and live together in west London with their two children. They previously appeared on Celebrity Gogglebox together.
Jamie and Sophie were married in the village church in Ditchling, East Sussex, on September 15, 2007. Stars of TV and radio were among 200 family and friends invited to the wedding, including radio presenter Chris Evans, former England striker and Arsenal legend Ian Wright, and TV personality David Walliams.
The service was held in the 12th century St Margaret's Church, and locals lined the street outside the church, which was decorated in garlands of white roses and hydrangeas.
Jamie and Sophie met at the Oscars in 2005, when the latter was the manager of a private members' club in Soho, London. They got engaged during a romantic holiday in Paris.
Theakston has previously been linked to socialite Lady Victoria Hervey, actor Joely Richardson, and models Erin O'Connor and Sophie Dahl.
They share two sons, Kit and Sidney, with Sophie running a jewellery business based out of her work London home, where she has a studio and showroom.
Speaking to his former Heart Breakfast co-host Harriet Scott after Kit's birth, Jamie said: "We've decided to call him Kit, not after the Knight Rider car, you understand.
"He's absolutely fine, he seems to be enjoying himself and his mum's all well."
In a previous interview, in which she spoke about juggling work and family life, Sophie said: "I have a very considerate and generally lovely husband who is usually home by lunchtime after a VERY early start, and he is brilliant at helping with school runs and sports matches if I have something that means I can't do it."
She also said Jamie is always on hand with "sound advice and a bear hug" when she is feeling stressed, adding: "Nothing is more important than my boys and my husband."
Today, announcing his health news, Radio host Jamie told his 73k followers: "Hi folks, as you know I recently had an operation to remove my vocal chords. The biopsy has identified this as Stage 1 Laryngeal cancer.
"So...I have cancer...but cancer doesn't have me! The prognosis is very positive and I'm hoping to be back with you in October. Until then, I've been told to give my voice a rest and leave you in the mostly capable hands of JK and Amanda."
He wrapped up with: "Be thankful for this day, and when I see you next, I'll have a great story to tell...Jamie x."
His Heart FM co-star Amanda Holden also took to Instagram to share her own message, writing: "Our wonderful @jamie.theakston has been diagnosed with stage 1 laryngeal cancer. His prognosis is very good and he has an incredible team around him.
"Jamie. We love and miss you and look forward to seeing you very soon. With @sophietheakstonjewellery, your gorgeous boys, us and the entire nation with you.. YOU WILL GET THROUGH THIS."
Jamie, who co-hosts the Heart Breakfast show with Amanda every weekday morning from 6:30am until 10am, has also had a distinguished career presenting numerous TV shows across major British networks.
