Sky remains top dog when it comes to watching TV, with the firm now offering numerous ways to tune in and get entertained. Along with its older Sky Q box, there's also its Sky Stream device and two fully connected Glass TVs that use the internet to beam shows, sports and movies to the big screen. That means there's no need for a dish to be stuck to the wall or for engineers to visit.
Sky Glass and Sky Glass Air offer a seriously impressive and hassle-free way to watch the telly, but these screens do require a monthly subscription to get the best out of them. Prices start from £6 but can rise to well over £60 per month depending on what you add on to the plan.
If that's not something you want to pay for, there is now another option. Freely launched last year and also offers access to live and on-demand content via your broadband rather than an over-the-air signal. Although Freely can't match Sky's huge catalogue of content, it is totally free to watch, and there are no subscriptions to pay.
The only thing you need to tune in is a Freely-powered telly, and Amazon's latest sale just made one premium model feel far more affordable.
In fact, the 2025 Hisense range is currently half the usual price, with things starting from just £499 rather than £999.
These screens get MiniLED technology with anti-reflection for an improved picture, fast refresh rate for better gaming and updates such as Dolby Atmos.
They also get the Freely platform built in, which offers over 40 channels plus swathes of on-demand content without any fees. Freely also includes a full TV guide, mini guide, ability to pause live TV and see recommendations for things to watch.

As we mentioned before, the only downside of Freely is that you can't watch content such as premium sports or movies. If that's something you'll miss, then it's worth checking out Sky Glass, Sky Glass Air or Sky Stream.
These devices start from as little as £15 per month.
