Despite the appeal to ban the entry of non-Hindus in Garba pandals in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, a Muslim youth entered the pandal by changing his identity. This incident took place in Pandya Khedi area on Maksi Road, where the workers of Hindu Jagran Manch caught the youth on suspicion. On questioning, the youth first told his name as Rahul, but when he was brought before the police, he revealed his real identity as Firoz.

During the Garba event on Tuesday night, Hindu Jagran Manch activist Ritesh Maheshwari became suspicious of the activities of a young man in the pandal. When he asked him his name, he introduced himself as Rahul and said that he is a resident of Maksi Road and comes to watch Garba every day. The activists took him to the police and revealed his real identity.

When the youth told his real name Firoz during interrogation by the police, the activists got angry and started slapping him. After this, the youth was trying to call someone, but people snatched his phone. When his pocket was searched, condoms were found in it. After finding the condoms, the youth tried to run away, but he was caught and handed over to the police.

District convenor of Hindu Jagran Manch, Neelu Rani Chauhan, said that objectionable material has been recovered from the youth, and he has been handed over to Panwasa police. The police is now investigating the matter and interrogating the youth.
