There is no reduction in the crimes against women in Uttar Pradesh. Here now a case of a man killing his wife has come to light. In Bareilly, UP, a man killed his wife by stabbing her with a knife. Allegedly, the accused stabbed the woman several times with a knife on her private parts and other parts of the body. Due to this, the woman died on the spot.
According to reports, a man named Shahid alias Bhura from Tanda Mohalla in Bareilly's Beheri area has killed his wife. The accused had married a girl from another community two years ago. After a few months of marriage, the two started fighting. On Friday evening, the two fought over something. During this, Shahid attacked his wife with a vegetable-cutting knife. The husband also stabbed his wife's private part several times with a knife. The woman died on the spot.
This information was given to the girl's family members;
however, the accused informed the girl's family members that the daughter was stabbed while cutting vegetables. The family members of the deceased have accused the husband of harassing the daughter sometime after marrying her after taking dowry. The family members have alleged that he used to burn the daughter with cigarettes, stripped her, and gave her an electric shock. The police have registered a case and arrested the accused husband Shahid. The police have registered a case of murder for dowry.
