Nagaur/Jaipur: Police have arrested three accused, including the main shooter, who shot dead a businessman in Kuchaman a week ago on October 7. Late Thursday evening, the police team arrested the three accused from West Bengal and they are being brought back. SP Richa Tomar said that Ganpat Gurjar, Dharmendra Gurjar and Mahesh Gurjar have been arrested. One accused, Zuber, is still absconding and raids are being conducted at suspected hideouts to search for him. Two days ago, the police had announced a reward of Rs 1 lakh each on these four criminals.
Raids were conducted in 9 states and then they were caught.Superintendent of Police Richa Tomar stated that 20 separate teams of 100 police officers were formed to arrest the killers and their accomplices. Each team was assigned a different task. Continuous raids were conducted at suspected locations. In addition to Rajasthan, raids were conducted in Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Haryana, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, West Bengal, and Bihar. Seven suspects who assisted in the murder have already been arrested. As a result, the Kuchaman police have arrested eleven accused so far. A minor has also been detained.

Around 5:30 a.m., a shooter entered the gym and suddenly opened fire on Ramesh Rulania. After firing three shots, the shooter immediately fled. The murder was captured on CCTV cameras installed in the gym, showing the shooter entering the gym and then running away after firing.

A social media post by gangster Virendra Charan went viral, stating that Ramesh Rulania had refused to pay extortion money. Consequently, he was shot. The gangster also threatened the businessmen he had demanded money from to be careful. He wrote, "We don't forget anyone; everyone's turn will come." Now, after the arrest of the main accused in this murder, it will become clear who was behind the murder.
Threatened a year agoNearly a year ago, businessman Ramesh Rulania and four other businessmen from Kuchaman received threatening calls. They were demanded extortion money worth crores of rupees. They were threatened with death if they did not pay the extortion money. Following the murder, a two-day protest was held outside the Kuchaman City Police Station. Several MLAs and former MLAs, including Lok Sabha MP Hanuman Beniwal, participated in the protest.
