As she stepped out to greet her adoring audience following the success of her Paris Fashion Week show, Victoria Beckham literally could not contain her sense of achievement. And so perhaps this is why, the former Spice Girl, 51, turned acclaimed fashion designer, decided to act out of character when walking down her runway.
The star and mum of four paused her lap of honour to passionately kiss husband David on the lips as he sat in the front row, beaming with pride. And next to him was their daughter Harper, who looked up at her mother adoringly.
Standing on her raised catwalk, Victoria leaned down and grabbed David's face in her well-manicured hands and planted a kiss on his lips. Both her son Romeo and Cruz were also in attendance as the family as a whole put on a united front in support of Victoria. But one person who was noticeably absent was her eldest son Brooklyn.
This is indicative of the tension that has brewed in the Beckham household between the aspiring chef and his family members.
In August, Brooklyn renewed his vows with wife Nicola Peltz but in a shock move, he snubbed his entire family as he refused to invite them. Instead, in attendance were Nicola's family and their mutual friends.
And in his marriage renewal speech, Brooklyn only focused on praising the Peltz family, purposefully dismissing his own family members.
The YouTube chef didn't wish his younger brother Romeo a Happy Birthday and also failed to attend his 23rd birthday bash, held in London.
Victoria strived hard to be taken seriously within the fashion industry as many judged her on her time as a Spice Girl.
And in her Netflix documentary, she recalled her journey to become one of the most well known fashion designers. In the trailer that has just been released, she admitted: "I want my kids and David to be proud of me. It’s taken so long to get to this point. I’m not gonna let it slip through my fingers again."
David and Victoria married in 1999 at a lavish ceremony in Ireland and share four children together. The documentary, which gives an insight into her life behind the glitz and glamour of the showbiz world, has been well received already.
One YouTuber wrote: "She has actually accomplished so much." They added: "Four kids, former Spice Girl, now a fashion mogul. She didn’t have to do it—she could have lived as a housewife on his income. I’m excited to watch."
According to reports, David was the driving force behind Victoria's decision to go ahead with the Netflix deal. It's believed that he thought the public needed to see the real side of Victoria as she is the "true star of the Beckham household."
