Sharon Osbourne branded her beloved husband, Ozzy Osbourne, a 'f***ing disaster' when she first met the Prince of Darkness. The 72-year-old manager and presenter and her family announced on Tuesday night that the Black Sabbath icon died surrounded by his loved ones at the age of 76.
His family said: "It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning. He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time. Sharon, Jack, Kelly, Aimee and Louis."

Sharon has stood by her husband through thick and thin over the last 43 years of marriage. The star even put together a two-year plan to bring Ozzy back to Englandto enjoy his final years.
However, it wasn't all smooth sailing for the couple as Sharon initially branded him a 'f***ing disaster' during their first meeting. Ozzy was handed an envelope of money to give then Sharon Arden, who is the daughter of Black Sabbath's former manager.
He chose to blow the money on cocaine, which he was using when Sharon arrived at the hotel to get the envelope. When she asked if he had anything for her, he answered: "No, I don't think so."
The Prince of Darkness previously said: "But it didn't take Einstein to work out what had happened. There was a massive bag of coke on the table next to a ripped-up envelope with 'Sharon' written on it in felt-tip pen.
"Sharon gave me a monumental bollocking when she saw it, shouting and cursing and telling me I was a f***ing disaster. 'I guess I won't be shagging her any time soon, then,' I thought.
"But she came back the next day, to find me lying in a puddle of my own p**s, smoking a joint. She said, 'Look, if you want to get your s**t together, we want to manage you'."

Ozzy's health deteriorated on Tuesday, days after his final performance at his Back To The Beginning concert at Villa Park, the stadium he loved, the home of Aston Villa. In recent years, his health had worsened following his Parkinson's disease diagnosis in 2003, which he only shared in 2020.
An air ambulance landed close to Ozzy's Buckinghamshire mansion at around 10:30am on Tuesday, and medics spent hours attempting to revive the Black Sabbath musician.
Ozzy's final wish of returning to England was fulfilled as he and Sharon previously shared their plans to leave America after two decades in Los Angeles.
However, Ozzy's health struggles, Parkinson's diagnosis and spinal surgery put the brakes on the move before Sharon put a plan in place to fulfil his wish. "It just seems that every time we're set to go, something happens with Ozzy's health," Sharon previously shared.
After a few years of meticulous planning, the couple finally returned to the UK just in time for his last gig, which was fittingly held in Birmingham on July 5. "It's time for me to spend some time with my grandkids," he explained tothe Guardian in May. "I don't want to die in a hotel room somewhere. I want to spend the rest of my life with my family."
One of his main reasons for wanting to return was gun violence in the United States. "Everything's f***ing ridiculous [in America]. I'm fed up with people getting killed every day," he told The Observer.
But for Sharon, the move was about protecting her husband. "I just feel like I want to go home, I want your father to have a chance to live his life without being photographed going in and out of doctors' offices, and headlines saying 'he's dying' and 'he's got this long to live'.
"I don't want that, I don't want that every week, I want him to have a life. I want him to have some dignity, a life, and we can do what we want more in England than we can here."
