Since arriving at Old Trafford from Ajax for approximately £85million, the Brazilian has managed just five goals and three assists across 56 Premier League matches. But he's not the only player to have struggled at Old Trafford in that time.

But whether that's down simply to Ten Hag or a result of deeper problems has been a source of debate among fans and pundits alike, among them. "I feel very sorry for the manager," he has admitted in the past. "I know a lot of people will say he’s got to do a lot better, and that’s fine, he’s the manager, but there are a lot of big problems at the club that managers have found over the last ten years.

"I think until those problems are solved we’ll still continue to see underperforming teams, underperforming players, it’s become a graveyard for coaches and players – it’s not too strong a term."

It's a damning assessment that ties in with the fact they have picked up just eight points from a possible 21. Many supporters believe it's finally time for a change and have voted on who they would like to see take over, with two candidates standing out.
