Former Gogglebox star Amy Tapper looked stunning in a gorgeous summer's dress for a family weddingthis weekend following herweight loss. The 25-year-old looked radiant in the ruffled, plunging number as she posed with friends and her sister-in-law Hannah at the celebration.
Amy has been sharing her fitness journey with fans on Instagram and earlier this year revealed she’d officially dropped six stone breaking down in tears as she jumped on the scales in front of her personal trainer.
“I cannot believe it - I’m so proud of myself,” she wrote at the time. “Here’s to the next stone and more.”

In February, she shared a mirror selfie wearing a jumper from 2022 that now hangs loosely on her slimmer frame. “Officially 5 stone down and I couldn’t be happier. Never thought I’d be able to reach this milestone so I think I can say I’m proud of myself.”
“Thank you for being by my side throughout it all,” she told fans.
The support Amy’s received hasn’t gone unnoticed. Her transformation has inspired others to share their own health goals - something she says means the world. “More recently it has come full circle with people on my social media sharing in my weightloss journey and sharing their goals and progress too. It’s an amazing feeling when they thank me for being their inspiration.”
Amy revealed she kick-started her health journey with a challenge to shed 3.5 stone - losing 33cm from her waist in just five weeks at the start of 2022. But she’s been open about the fact that years of trying diets, they never gave her lasting results.
She explained that it was only after making a positive lifestyle change that her health journey finally took off.
From a young age, Amy says she recognised she had a bigger build than her peers and although she was never bullied for her weight, she was always aware of her size.
Amy first appeared on Gogglebox at 13, alongside her mum Nikki, dad Jonathan and brother Josh. The show catapulted the family into the public eye and straight into the firing line of cruel social media trolls.
“I’d see people on Twitter calling us ‘the fat family from Gogglebox’,” she said. “My dad and I would both get nasty comments about our weight… but my mum and my brother have never had any problems with their weight.”
Despite the hurtful comments, Amy stayed focused and determined to hit her goals and she’s now become an inspiration to others doing the same.
