Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz celebrate milestone away from David and Victoria

Brooklyn Beckham and his wifeNicola Peltz couldn't contain their joy as they celebrated some huge news. The A-list couple have hit the headlines recently due to their strained relationship with Brooklyn's family, including his dad, Sir David Beckham and mum, Lady Victoria Beckham.

Butdespite the strained relationship with his family, Brooklyn and Nicola's relationship seems to be going from strength to strength, and he has a close bond with his billionaire in-laws. Currently, the Peltz-Beckhams and Nicola's family are enjoying a relaxing break in Saint-Tropez and have been delighting fans with snaps from their getaway.

Now, it appears that the family holiday has even more of a special meaning after a major milestone. While in the stunning French town, Nicola's older brother, Will, 39, decided to pop the question to his girlfriend, Quincy Jones' daughter, Kenya Kinski-Jones, 32.

Taking to Instagram, Kenya and Will shared a joint post of the pair kissing while she showcased her huge diamond engagement ring. They captioned their upload: "Just engaged, my whole heart for my whole life," with two red emojis.

Brooklyn reshared the post on his Stories in view of his 16.2million followers on the platform. He wrote: "Congratulations @willpeltz @kenyakinskij x love u 2 x so happy for you guys." Meanwhile, Nicola also shared the huge announcement with her 3.1million followers.

The actress penned: "Best news ever!" Will and Kenya were flooded with celebratory messages, with Paris Jackson exclaiming: "Yes!!!!" Sophie Stallone added: "Yay!! Congratulations you two," alongside a red heart emoji.

In the comments, Nicola exclaimed: "KENYA JONES PELTZ!!!!!!! MY FOREVER SISTER!!!! IM SO HAPPY I LOVE YOU BOTH!!!!!" Stylist Jamie Taylor added: "Congrats you two!" The happy family news comes after claims that Brooklyn may miss his little sister Harper's birthday.

Talk of tensions between Brooklyn and his wife with his mum and dad started in 2022 around the time of Brooklyn and Nicola’s wedding – and there are no signs of it ending any time soon.

Brooklyn famously skipped his mother's 51st birthday, as well as David's recent 50th and also failed to publicly acknowledge David being given a knighthood. Harper, the youngest of Sir David and Lady Victoria's children, turns 14 on Thursday, and a source claimed that, with talk of the family feud escalating further, Brooklyn is expected to be missing from the celebrations once again.

Our source said that while the family fallout is mainly between Brooklyn and his parents, his younger siblings, including birthday girl Harper, have sadly become collateral damage.

"Harper's been particularly affected by what’s going on because she's always been really close to Brooklyn," claimed the source. "They've always had a lovely bond because Brooklyn was that bit older when Harper was born, and the hope when Brooklyn married Nicola was that she'd become like a big sister to Harper in a house full of brothers.

"But obviously that hasn't happened, and it's potentially going to be heartbreaking for Harper if Brooklyn doesn't show up for her on her birthday."
