Archie and his family were invited to sit with the owners for the crunch tie after connecting with McElhenney following a hospital visit by the club's striker Ollie Palmer in November. They were seen taking part in the celebrations with the celebrity A-listers as goals from Ollie Rathbone and Sam Smith handed Phil Parkinson's side an historic third successive promotion.

Posting on X after the game, Archie's mum Sarah was full of praise for the way looked after her son. She wrote: "What a woman!!!!!! Non stop checking if Archie was ok, cheering with him and getting him drinks."
Sarah added: "Words can't describe how special today was!!!! A day needed for our boy. The respect you all showed Archie was mind blowing and we go back to hospital Monday with big hearts and smiles!!!!"
McElhenney also shared a picture on social media of Archie with Wrexham legend Mickey Thomas, who has experienced his own battle with cancer. The Always Sunny in Philadelphia star said: "Two of the strongest people I've ever met. Mickey and Archie, thank you for showing us what's really important."
Archie was also given the opportunity to visit Wrexham's training ground last week. A number of Wrexham's star players posed for pictures with him, including George Dobson, Paul Mullin, Ollie Rathbone and Arthur Okonkwo,.
Dobson said the youngster's visit had helped the team to see the bigger picture amidst the pressure of their promotion chase. Archie has undergone three rounds of chemotherapy so far and is due to receive further treatment at Manchester Royal Children's Hospital.
"It's the sense of perspective. At the end of the day, we're just playing a game of football," Dobson told the "It was great Archie coming in and seeing his family. He seemed like he had a great day.
"That's the special thing about the club, they really do buy into all aspects of the community and the family aspect. I think that's what's set the tone for the club in general and why they've been so successful in the last few years and hopefully we can continue that."
Wrexham boss Parkinson also hailed the community spirit around the club. "It was great to see young Archie at the training ground and what a great young man he is," he said. "It's an inspiration with how he's coping with all of his problems. That's what a football club is all about, it's about being part of the community.
"Wrexham is very much at the heart of this town, and any supporter or anyone we feel can benefit from connecting with us, then obviously we try and do that."
