Revolution The Superdrug Edit Advent Calendar - £40 (worth £102)
Exclusive to Superdrug, this advent calendar by popular high street beauty brand Revolution is packed with makeup finds that teens will love. We like that this buy is a 24-day collection, meaning the recipient can count down the days right up until the big day.
Including items such as the Pout Bomb Shimmer Lip Gloss Mini, the Pout Clear Lip Oil Mini, and the Highlighter Stick Silver Shimmer, it's ideal for the party season and beyond. One shopper who rated it on the Superdrug website wrote: "10/10 - very good products."
Although we think the calendar is ideal for teens and less expensive than many of the other beauty offerings, one downside could be that it features makeup items in specific shades, which may not be to every teen's taste.
Despite this, many of the shades look wearable for all hair and skin tones, so it would be a good addition to a first makeup kit.
LEGO Harry Potter Advent Calendar 2025 - £29.99
LEGO's 2025 Harry Potter Advent Calendar is ideal for Hogwarts fans. Including 278 pieces, the calendar allows the recipient to build their own scene from the iconic series. It's recommended for children over the age of seven and will keep any LEGO lovers occupied in the lead-up to Christmas.
Boasting 4.9 out of five stars on the review section of LEGO's website, there are popular Harry Potter characters, creatures and potions behind each door, revealing a surprise each day throughout the countdown to December 25th.
Including 10 fun collectable mini builds, six buildable figures, and eight LEGO mini figures wearing festive Christmas jumpers, the set is ideal for movie-mad teens and adults alike.
One reviewer has described it as 'amazing', and whilst we agree it's a great buy, it's worth considering that the calendar may contain fiddly small pieces that are not suitable for those with younger siblings.
W7 Beauty Blast Advent Calendar 2025 - £19.95
At less than £20, this W7 buy from Amazon is a great option for a beauty-loving teen without breaking the bank. Despite its more affordable price point, this calendar still features a 24-day countdown and boasts some full-sized products.
Including a bronzer, highlighter, eyeshadows, lip glosses, a hair and body mist, and more, there's a variety of products to suit all tastes. With its individually boxed items, the unboxing experience is reminiscent of more expensive beauty calendars, which luxury-loving teens are sure to enjoy.
One Amazon reviewer said of the calendar (which boasts a 4.5 star rating out of five): "What a bargain, bought this for my 9 year old daughter, was really impressed with the products for the price of the calendar, even I have used some of the make-up. Would buy again!"
One slight drawback of the calendar according to another shopper is that the items are listed on the back. They wrote: "Was a good advent calendar for teen. Shame you see all the items on the back, some still like a surprise."
Cadbury Dairy Milk and Biscoff Advent Calendar - £7.50
For the teen who likes a good old fashioned chocolate advent calendar, look no further than Cadbury's Dairy Milk and Biscoff offering which is available at Ocado. Arguably, the breakfast spread of choice for teens up and down the country, the tasty calendar would be the ideal pre-school or college treat. On the downside, the calendar may not be suitable for those with dietary requirements, so it's worth reading the info labels prior to purchasing.
Bohomoon 2025 Advent Calendar - £149
At the pricier end of the scale is Bohomoon's jewellery advent calendar, but for teens who deserve a treat this Christmas it's a great pick. Available in either silver or gold colourways, it contains four exclusive never seen before items. Shoppers can choose their ring size when ordering to ensure the best fit.
Containing three necklaces, three bracelets, three pairs of earrings and three rings, the calendar has savings of 57% with the contents worth £350.
Ideal for adding a little sparkle to the festive season, it's perfect for teens who want to build up a quality everyday jewellery collection without breaking the bank. Tarnish-free and waterproof, the designs are made to be worn.
One drawback with this calendar is the price, but for those who know a teen deserving of something special this year, it's a great pick.
Sephora Collection Advent - £54.99
It goes without saying that most people know a teen obsessed with Sephora, and surprisingly, this advent calendar isn't as pricey as some may expect from the beauty retailer.
Containing 24 surprises to open, there's no numbering which allows teens to pick the door they fancy each day. The exception is door 24 which contains an exclusive, limited-edition product especially for Christmas Eve. Inside the advent shoppers can expect to find everything from mascara to lip and face masks.
LYNX Ultimate 24 Day Advent Calendar Gift Set - £60
It's no secret that LYNX is popular among teens, and this £60 advent calendar can be found at Boots. Containing 13 full size and three travel sized products, it also boasts eight gift items. We like the practicality of this fun calendar as it means teens won't need to stock up on their essentials until well into the new year.
One downside to the calendar is that at £60, it's a pricey pre-Christmas treat, however, it boasts a perfect five out of five-star score on Boots' website.
One shopper wrote: "Bought this last year for my grandson. He was so pleased with it I bought 2 this year, one for my other grandson. They are aged 12 and 15. Looks every bit as good as last year's."
Soap & Glory The House of Glory Advent Calendar - £48

Containing some of the brand's most iconic products including a 75ml Clean on Me Body Wash, 50ml The Righteous Butter Body Butter, and a 50ml size of the Heel Genius Foot Cream it's ideal for teens in need of a Christmas holiday pamper.
One downside with the calendar is that it has doors to open rather than the individual boxes commonly associated with beauty calendars, but overall, it's a no-brainer for fans of the brand.
Ted Baker 24 Days of Essentials Advent Calendar - £46
For boys who like to take care of their skin, there's the Ted Baker 24 Days of Essentials Calendarwhich is available at Boots. Featuring deluxe, full-sized, and limited edition products, there's plenty of self-care treats for him to enjoy.
The contents boast all manner of toiletries, including hair and body washes, cleansers, tweezers, and a comb, all encased in a handy reusable tin. Ideal for travel or carrying in a sports bag, this is one handy gift that should get use beyond the festive period.
One downside is that the set does contain a beard wash and balm, which may not be used by all teens however, the rest of the items are pretty universal in their appeal.
One shopper said: "So happy I got my hands on this! It sold out last year, was so gutted I missed out for my nephew. Full of great products for washing and grooming."
White Stuff 12 Days Men's Socks Advent - £29 (was £39)
For the teen who's always losing their socks or finding gaping holes in them, there's White Stuff's fun Men's Socks Advent.
Featuring 12 pairs of socks, the calendar has been slashed in price from £39 to £29. Shoppers have been raving about the advent on the retailer's website where it currently boasts a 4.7 star average rating out of a possible five stars.
One said: "Bought as a present for my son. He was really pleased with the items commenting he loved the quality of White Stuff socks."
One downside is that the advent only contains 12 doors to open, but we reckon this is as much a gift to teen parents as it is to the recipients themselves.
H&M Bath and Body Advent Calendar - £29.99
H&M may not be the first retailer many would typically associate an advent calendar with, but this year the retailer is offering its bath and body option for under £30.
Containing 24 mini and full sized products such as lip balms, lip oil, two bath fizzers, bath confetti, and more, it's a fun buy for the teen who loves to be pampered. The brand also has a makeup version for the same price.
Beautifully packaged in a festive red house with a bow, it'll not only be a pleasure to option but also looks great in any bedroom.
One slight drawback is that it would have been nice if the makeup and wellness calendars had been combined so shoppers had more variety of beauty buys, but overall, it contains a decent amount for the price.
