Friends, in today's modern world everyone has a two-wheeler or four-wheeler, which has become a necessity, we need fuel to run them and for this we have to go to the petrol pump, cases of cheating people while filling fuel are increasing, due to which there is a dispute and even a fight between customers and petrol pump employees, in such a situation, whenever you go to fill petrol, keep these things in mind-

Always check the meter before filling fuel

Before filling petrol or diesel, make sure that the fuel dispenser meter is set to zero.

If the meter does not start from zero, ask the attendant to reset it.

Many people believe that once the meter shows zero, they cannot be cheated. But this is not completely true.

Beware of the "meter jumping" trick

One of the most common frauds at petrol pumps is the "meter jumping" trick.

After resetting to 0, some pumps manipulate the meter so that it goes straight from 0 to 5 (or higher), skipping the initial units.

This means you are getting a cheaper price without realising it.

Always keep a close eye on the meter so that it moves in a natural, steady flow (1, 2, 3...) rather than increasing.

Keep an eye on fuel density

Most petrol pumps display density, which is usually shown along with volume and quantity.

Keeping an eye on density helps ensure fuel quality. It is difficult to tamper with, but checking it regularly increases awareness.
