Ganja Smuggling News| Simdega, Ravikant Sahu: Simdega police conducted a search operation based on secret information and seized ganja worth Rs 1.5 crore. A car has also been seized. District SP Mo Arshi had received secret information that ganja was being smuggled from Odisha to Simdega in a car. Based on this information, a police team was formed under the leadership of SDPO and Headquarters DSP.

 

 

 

The smugglers left the blue car and ran away into the forest

The team conducted a search operation. Due to the police raid, the ganja smugglers left the blue car near Gadgad Jharia bridge and fled into the forest. The police have seized the car. 126 kg 400 grams of ganja was recovered from inside the car. The ganja was packed in 78 packets.

The board of Engineer, Government of India Undertaking was installed on the car

SP told journalists in a press conference at Collectorate that the seized ganja is worth about 1.5 crore rupees. Police is conducting raids to arrest the three ganja smugglers. SP told that the vehicle in which ganja was being smuggled also had a board of Engineer, Government of India undertaking.

Every aspect of the ganja smuggling case is being investigated – SP

SP Mo Arshi said that a thorough investigation is being conducted into the ganja smuggling case. Every aspect of ganja smuggling will be investigated. The smuggling case will be exposed by thoroughly investigating where the ganja comes from and where it goes.

Many number plates were found inside the vehicle – SP

He said that several number plates have also been recovered from inside the vehicle. The smugglers were busy carrying out smuggling by changing number plates. SDPO Baiju Oraon, Headquarters DSP Ranveer Singh were also present in the press conference.
