Mayank Yadav News: India's young fast bowling sensation Mayank Yadav may go on Australia tour. India has to play the five-match Border Gavaskar Trophy there. Captain Rohit Sharma has hinted at this in the press conference before the Test series against New Zealand. Regarding Mohammad Shami, he said that until Shami is fully fit, he is not in favor of fielding him. He clearly said that he cannot field a weak Shami against Australia, so Shami may not be able to tour Australia.

Mayank Yadav: Rohit is worried about the injury

Captain Rohit Sharma said on Tuesday that the team has a strong pool of batsmen and he wants to create a similar stock in fast bowling so that injuries do not affect the balance of the team. Rohit's comment came on the shoulder injury of senior fast bowler Mohammed Shami and left-arm fast bowler Yash Dayal. Dayal was recently included in the Indian team for the series against Bangladesh, but he got injured.

Mayank Yadav: Rohit wants to prepare a pool of bowlers

Rohit Sharma said on the eve of the first Test against New Zealand, "As far as batting is concerned, we have a lot of options. We want to do the same in bowling. We want to create such a bench strength where we don't have to worry if something happens to someone tomorrow." He said, "We don't want to depend too much on some people. It is not the right thing to do. We want to look at the future and try to ensure that we get the right people."

Mayank Yadav: Rohit has full faith in Mayank

Perhaps the BCCI is also looking in this direction, so the selectors have selected fast bowlers Mayank Yadav, Harshit Rana, Nitish Kumar Reddy and Prasidh Krishna as travel reserves for the three-Test series against New Zealand. Rohit said about Mayank, "Mayank has shown what he can do. But we want to be careful with him. He has suffered many injuries before, so we want to take him forward, not fast. Just see every day how he is, will try to increase his workload with the red ball. For us, it is to prepare him slowly instead of bringing him directly into international cricket."
