Maalik Box Office Collection Day 2 Prediction: After A Slow Start, Will Rajkummar Rao Starrer Show A Jump On Saturday?

Send Push

Maalik, starring Rajkummar Rao, was released on Friday. The film has received mixed reviews from the critics, and it took a slow start at the box office by collecting Rs. 3.75 crore on its day one. As the critics' reviews and the word of mouth are not great, one cannot expect a huge jump at the box office during the weekend.

According to early estimates, Maalik, which also stars Manushi Chhillar in the lead role, might collect around Rs. 4-5 crore on its second day. However, if the movie shows growth during the night shows, then it can collect more than Rs. 5 crore on its day two. For now, it looks like Maalik might collect around Rs. 8 crore in two days, which is a strictly average number.

Maalik Budget

Maalik is reportedly made on a budget of Rs. 50 crore, so after a slow start, it needed to show a huge jump at the box office. But, it looks like because of a minimal growth, the movie won't be able to collect a huge amount over the weekend.

Rajkummar's last film, Bhool Chuk Maaf, was also reportedly made on a budget of Rs. 50 crore and in three days, it had minted Rs. 28 crore. We can understand that Maalik is an A certificate film, so the audience gets limited, but the Pulkit directorial won't even collect half of what BCM did during its first weekend.
