Measures to avoid mosquitoes

Do not let water accumulate.

- First of all, try to remove the water accumulated in or around your house. This gives ample opportunity to mosquitoes to thrive.

- Mosquitoes breed in stagnant water, so the first step is to remove the places where water accumulates around your house.

-Empty flower pots, buckets, and birdbaths regularly.

-Keep water containers well covered.

-Clean coolers, water tanks, and drains at least once a week.

Make doors and windows mosquito-proof

-If there is no mesh on windows and doors, then definitely get it installed. This will prevent mosquitoes from entering. Close all the windows before evening. There should not be any holes or empty spaces in the mesh. Put closers on the doors.

Use natural repellents

-You can use repellents inside the house to keep mosquitoes away:

-For this, you can use natural methods like neem oil, citronella candles, camphor, and basil plants which help in repelling mosquitoes naturally.

-If you want, you can also buy chemical repellents available in the market like liquid vaporizers, coils and plug-in machines. These also kill mosquitoes. Yes, turn them on only in a place with proper ventilation, so that its chemical smoke keeps coming out.

Keep the house clean

- Places with dirt and moisture attract mosquitoes. Keep your house dry and ventilated. You can open the windows a little during the day.

- Keep changing the bed sheets and curtains.

- Do not leave wet clothes hanging inside the house.

- Keep the garbage covered and throw it out every day.

- If there are more mosquitoes, sleep with a mosquito net.

- In the evening, make you and the children wear full-sleeved clothes. Wearing light-colored clothes also reduces mosquito bites.
