Shefali Jariwala, remembered for her hit music video Kaanta Laga and Bigg Boss 13, died of a cardiac arrest at 42. Bellevue Multispeciality Hospital in Mumbai confirmed her death late on 27 June.
Her husband Parag Tyagi, along with three others, rushed her to the hospital that night. She was declared dead on arrival.
Journalist Vickey Lalwani posted, “I can confirm that she was brought dead to Bellevue Multispeciality hospital (opposite Star Bazaar Andheri) about 45 minutes prior to this post. Shefali was rushed to the hospital by her husband and three others.”
A hospital staff member told Times of India, "Shefali had expired before she was brought in. Her husband and a few others accompanied the body."
When asked for more, the hospital’s RMO said, "For further details, please speak to Dr Vijay Lulla (cardiologist)." Dr Lulla did not deny the death but added, "I cannot divulge any details regarding any patient."

Body sent for post-mortem
Following her passing, Shefali’s body was shifted to Cooper Hospital in Andheri for a post-mortem. Late Saturday night, Parag Tyagi was seen leaving the hospital. He looked devastated as he made his way home alone.
Photos and videos of Parag’s silent walk from the hospital have now emerged online. Fans reacted with sadness.
