Archana Puran Singh’s laughs may be meme material nowadays, but did you know they are the inspiration behind a successful billion-dollar enterprise? In the latest episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show, Aman Gupta, the co-founder of electronics brand boAt, claimed that her hearty, boisterous laughter was used by BoAt’s research and development team for a new range of noise cancellation headphones.
The entrepreneur told the actress, “The real reason behind the company’s expansion is Archana ji. Archana ji, thank you. Aapki laughter ko humne R&D factory mein diya hua hai, noise cancellation check karne ke liye. All the headphones are top-notch!”
Archana responded with her trademark tongue-in-cheek humour and demanded her equity. Host Kapil Sharma quipped, “Equity nahi, do headphones leke aaye hain, ek aapke liye, ek Parmeet sir ke liye (No equity, he has got two headphones for both of you).”
