The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) will release the admit card for the Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) 2025 today, October 11, 2025. The Bihar STET 2025 exam will be held in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode from October 14, 2025, onwards. Each paper contains 150 multiple-choice questions, with 100 subject-related questions and 50 on teaching aptitude. The total duration of the test is 2 hours and 30 minutes, and there will be no negative marking.

Bihar STET Qualifying Marks and Reservation Criteria

The minimum qualifying marks for STET 2025 vary according to category:

• General category: 50%
• Backward Classes (BC): 45.5%
• Extremely Backward Classes (EBC): 42.5%
• SC/ST, Women, and PwD candidates: 40%

The syllabus for Paper 1 follows the graduation level of state universities, while Paper 2 corresponds to the honours level syllabus.
