CSK Secures Crucial Win, Dents KKR's Playoff Hopes
CSK scripted a nail-biting win, badly hurting KKR's hopes of qualifying for the playoffs. Even though the openers departed for ducks, Urvil Patel's belligerent innings provided CSK with a good platform. But at 60/5, it was looking like a collapse was inevitable.
That is when Brevis asserted himself, hitting 30 runs off Vaibhav's over, turning the tide of the match. Though there were some late twists, Dube's steady knock and MSD's calm presence kept in control. Two late wickets in the 19th over couldn't prevent Dhoni from finishing the game with a vintage six, leaving KKR with slender hopes of qualification.
