WWE SmackDown May 9: Alexa Bliss returned to WWE programming on the latest episode of SmackDown. She teamed up with Zelina Vega to take on Piper Niven and Chelsea Green. Bliss was last seen at the Elimination Chamber 2025 event in March, where she participated in the titular match.
Alexa Bliss returns, picks up a winChelsea Green was seen in GM Nick Aldis’ office as she ‘mourned’ losing her US Championship to Zelina Vega a couple of weeks ago. She was soon confronted by Vega, who challenged her to a tag match.
She also assured her that she had a ‘friend’ who would be teaming with her. This paved the way for Bliss to return. Green and Piper Niven dominated the initial portions of the match, isolating Vega. Things, however, changed once Alexa Bliss got tagged in. The seasoned star eventually pinned Zelina Vega after nailing her with the Sister Abigail DDT.
