If you have a sense of service to the country, then the Chandigarh Administration has appealed to join as a Civil Defense Volunteer. This initiative has been started to assist in emergencies, contributing to the security of society and increasing civic awareness.

Age limit to become a Civil Defense Volunteer
If you also have a passion for serving the country and are above 18 years of age, then you can also join as a Civil Defense Volunteer. If you want to do something for the country, want to play an active role in the welfare of society, then this is the right opportunity. This much is paid to the Civil Defense Volunteers in Delhi
There is no news about the payment to the Civil Defense Volunteer to be filled through the Chandigarh Administration. But in Delhi, the Civil Defense Volunteer will be paid the following.

Duty Allowance: When a Civil Defense Volunteer is called on paid duty under any responsibility, he is given a duty allowance. Currently, this amount is Rs 749 under the Directorate of Civil Defense of the Delhi Government, which is applicable from 1 April 2021.

Training Allowance: When a Civil Defense Volunteer is called for training or exercise, he is given a training allowance. Its current amount is 28, which is applicable from 28 October 1996.

Vehicle Allowance: Civil Defense Volunteers called for duty or training are also given a vehicle allowance for travel expenses. This allowance is Rs 40, which is applicable from 1 January 2015.
