Viktor Gyokeres leaks Ruben Amorim's plans at Man Utd after Man City heroics

Sporting star Viktor Gyokeres has confirmed that outgoing manager will be bringing a number of staff members with him to .

Amorim has been , but he will not officially take charge until November 11. He has one more game left in charge of Sporting, a trip to Braga on November 10, while his final home game could not have gone much better.

And when asked about Amorim's impending departure, Gyokeres confirmed that several Sporting staff members will also be leaving with him. "We will miss him a lot," Gyokeres told UEFA.

"We've done amazing things together. We will miss him and the other guys in the staff who will leave. We have to look forward and attack the next challenge ahead of us."

Reflecting on the match as a whole, he added: "It's always nice to score and even better to score a hat-trick. Most important was to win the game so it was a brilliant night for us.

"We knew it was going to be tough and we didn't start off well. We knew they would give us space and we could have scored more than four to be fair. They could have scored more as well. You need to raise your level when you play better opponents. I tried to keep doing what I've been doing."

Amorim, meanwhile, attempted to play down the result after the game. "What I can tell you is that this [result] doesn't mean anything in particular - don't take anything from this," he said. "We cannot transport one reality to another. Manchester United cannot play the way we play and we will have to adapt.
