Strictly Come Dancing star Wynne Evans sparked concern from viewers as they claimed that he is “not enjoying” being on the show anymore.

The BBC hit competition returned to our TV screens on Saturday (October 26) for another nail-biting show. Things were heating up as the remaining celebs geared up to battle it out to secure their place in the competition.

Wynne Evans caught viewers' attention as the Go Compare star took to the dance floor with his professional dance partner and hoped to impress the judges and viewers at home with their Salsa.

Wynne seemed exhausted following the routine as the opera singer crawled towards Tess Daly to make his way over to receive his comments from the judges.

It’s clear that they did more than impress everyone as Craig Revel Horwood gave the advert star seven points. The other judges appeared to be more generous as they each gave him a score of eight. This means the star will most likely be in the top half of the leaderboard.

However viewers watching at home think Wynne doesn’t seem himself as one viewer took to X and said: “Wynne really doesn’t seem to be enjoying the show as much as he did #Strictly #StrictlyComeDancing.”

Another commented: “I thought Wyn looked a bit like he was being dragged around a bit #StrictlyComeDancing #Strictly." A third asked: “Anyone else think Wynne is faking a smile or is it just me?”

This week the couples are going all out with their routines and costumes for Halloween week with performances inspired by The Rocky Horror Picture Show and Beetlejuice Beetlejuice.

The judges also pulled out all the stops for the spooky season as viewers saw judge Craig Revel Horwood and Anton Du Beke as the twins from the Shining, Motsi Mabuse as Cruella de Vill and as Winifred Sanderson.

It comes as Wynne reportedly stirred up some controversy behind the scenes following an inappropriate quip. Insiders say while preparing for the show, he commented that his double chin resembled female anatomy.

The remark was allegedly made prior to the contest's kickoff programme. An insider remarked: "It was a bit of a vulgar dad joke."

The jest did not lead to any formal complaints, but it apparently didn't sit well with some crew members. The insider noted: "Wynne clearly didn't mean any offence, but you have to be a little bit careful these days."
