Meghan Markle and Prince Harry 'going separate ways' in one aspect of lives amid 'hiatus'

A commentator has suggested and are "going their separate ways" in terms of their professional projects.

The Duke, aged 40, and his 43-year-old Duchess have been spotted going solo at various events, with Meghan gracing the LA Children's Hospital Gala and a digital wellness event in Santa Barbara, while Harry has been globe-trotting to New York, London, and South Africa for his charitable work.

On 's Royal Exclusive show, Royal expert Phil Dampier remarked: "I think Meghan is genuinely doing a lot of work in the background for this project and American Riviera Orchard."

He added: "She probably wants a bit of a hiatus so that she can launch that. As for Harry, obviously he's been back and forth with a few charities."

He also noted: "They do seem to be going their separate ways. There's no evidence that they're splitting up at the moment personally."

Meanwhile, Renae Smith, PR guru and head of Atticism, told Express.co.uk that the Sussexes' choice to carve out individual paths could be advantageous in the long run but might fuel public gossip in the interim.

Smith said: "I think their decision to pursue individual brands could indeed work in their favour over the long term, although it's bound to spark a fair amount of public speculation in the short term.

Discussing the Royal couple's individual pursuits, she remarked: "From a PR perspective, this shift might allow each of them to create distinct brands that better reflect their different priorities and resonate more coherently with their individual audiences."

Meanwhile, dazzled in a striking red gown at the LA Children's Hospital Gala, rubbing shoulders with stars like Demi Lovato, Kaley Cuoco, Jamie Lee Curtis, Jimmy Kimmel, and Colin Hanks.

Following her appearance, the Sussex website updated with a message stating: "This weekend, Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex attended the biennial Children's Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) Gala, an inspiring event dedicated to celebrating the exceptional services provided to children across LA.

"Invited as a special guest by CHLA's president and CEO, Paul Viviano, The Duchess was proud to stand alongside esteemed guests in support of this vital cause."
