MAFS' Ella Morgan gives her verdict on JJ Slater and Katie Price's relationship

A year ago, Ella Morgan was just a clinical consultant living with her gran in Weston-super-Mare, but after her stint on Married At First Sight UK, she's become a reality star favourite. After appearing on the latest series of Celebs Go Dating, 30-year-old Ella is now loved up with hairdresser Alex Ali, 34, and they pair have been sharing a handful of steamy kisses on air.

“I’m so besotted with him, every time I talk about him I get this big smile on my face,” she told OK!. “He’s so handsome. He’s so different from what I usually go for, he’s quite like a hippy and out there. I’m so proud to be with him and I’m so proud to have a boyfriend that is as amazing as Alex, he’s so open-minded and accepting."

Meanwhile, her MAFS ex JJ Slater is in a relationship with former Page 3 star Katie Price after meeting through a mutual friend at the start of the year. The couple have been on several holidays together and Katie, 46, has posted a number of photos showing younger man JJ, 32, with her family.

Now that she's found her own happy ending with Alex, Ella has clearly been reflecting on her first reality show relationship with JJ - and reached a decision about what she thinks of his new romance. "I don’t think it’s ever really been on TV before [a cis man and a trans girl]. I do take my hat off to [JJ] as it was life-changing for me. Do I think it was genuine? I don’t know. But we’ve both moved on and I wish him the best in his relationship."

The transgender trailblazer, who now has 242K followers on Instagram, also explained why Celebs Go Dating "changed her life", and explained why it was different to her time on MAFS UK. "Being on MAFS UK was great, don’t get me wrong, but being on Celebs Go Dating, whether I met Alex or not, I changed more as a person in a positive way on this show," she said.

"It has changed my life because it’s taught me stuff about myself, it taught me so much about me and why I say the things I do, and why I do things I do, and how much I wore my heart on my sleeve, and I was vulnerable. And if it wasn’t for that show, I wouldn’t be the person that I am now. I’ve grown so much over the last year since I’ve been in the public eye. It has literally changed my life."

Ella, speaking exclusively at the EGO x Grace Rosa Jackson collection launch at Paris Fashion Week also hinted that she's in this one for the long haul - and would even be ready for a proposal from hunky Alex. "I do genuinely believe I am going to marry this boy. Oh, my God, I love it," she shared.

"I said it on the show, but honestly, I do believe I’m gonna be with him. I want loads of kids. Right now, we’re boyfriend and girlfriend but I do think he’ll ask me at some point in the future, and I would happily say yes. If you ask me right now, I think I’d say yes! I’m besotted!"
