Huge pop star accidentally 'confirms' she's in Holly Willoughby and Bear Grylls' new Netflix show

A huge pop star has accidentally ‘confirmed’ she’s one of the celebs starring in Holly Willoughby and Bear Grylls’ new Netflix show.

Last week it was revealed that Spice Girl Mel B had apparently been snapped up to star in Bear Hunt, a multi-million pound adventure show fronted by Holly and Bear that will air on the streaming giant next year.

The 48-year-old, who is known for her blabbermouth, is said to have told pals she has signed up to the show – for which he is reportedly getting a six-figure sum - to help pay for her lavish wedding to hairdresser Rory McPhee, which is set to be taking place in St Paul’s Cathedral.

Other rumoured contestants are Strictly Come Dancing head judge Shirley Ballas, model Leomie Anderson, The Saturdays star Una Healy and ex-rugby ace Danny Cipriani. Former Little Mix star Jesy Nelson was also reported to be in the line-up, but it is believed she won’t be on the show as her people failed to reach a deal with TV bosses in the end.

But while other contestants have been keeping tight-lipped about their involvement in the big budget show, which is set to see celebs learn survival skills from Bear before chasing them through the jungle and if they outrun him they win, Mel has been posting social media videos from Costa Rica, where the series is being filmed.

Posing in a bikini, Mel was filmed stepping out of a sauna in the jungle before bravely taking a dip in an ice bath. After dipping her head all the way under she quickly got out and was heard saying: “That is f***ing horrendous. F*** that shit.” She was then seen flashing V signs to the camera as a pal filmed the clip before lying down on a towel to sunbathe.

Captioning the post, Mel wrote: “Luvvvv the sunnn and my ice baths having the best time but that was HARDDDDD might do it again u no I luv my ice baths.” Fans were quick to comment underneath, with one joking: “That does not look like Leeds! [Mel’s hometown].” Another wrote: “Bloody love you.” A third added: “Queen B,” followed by a flame emoji. When a fan asked where she was, another answered: “She will be on Netflix show, she is filming the show in Costa Rica.”

And if the line-up rumours turn out to be true, it could be awkward when Una comes face to face with Danny, as the former rugby star has some beef with her ex-husband Ben Foden. Back in 2010, a then 25-year-old Ben made some comments about Danny that have stuck with him to this day.

Danny was dumped by England chief Johnson for his love of the London nightlife with ex-girlfriend and model Kelly Brook. At the time Ben told the Mirror, who was dating glam Saturdays singer Una: "My girlfriend is in the limelight more than me. "If I am ever pictured with her it's normally, 'Here is Una Healy... and rugby boyfriend Ben Foden'. I'm never going to be the main focus.

"I've never been a big clubber anyway. It's always been a part of the rugby culture to get drunk - but I do it with the boys! For me, it's rugby, rugby, rugby.” Taking a swipe at Danny, he added: "Cipriani has been a bit unlucky. He has probably done it a bit too soon. He needed to concentrate on his rugby a little bit more."

And 14 years on and Danny is reportedly “still fuming about it”. A source told The Sun: “This will make it awkward for them both as Una tries to keep a good relationship with Ben for the sake of her kids and now she has to be around someone who hates her ex. It’s not exactly comfortable for either of them and could see them clashing.”
