The Great British Bake Off fans were in uproar during Tuesday's show when host made a huge blunder.
In the episode dedicated to all things caramel, the bakers were set the challenge of creating mouth-watering caramel biscuits as their signature bake. They then had to concoct a pear tarte tatin paired with walnut ice cream for the technical task, topping it off with an indulgent caramel mousse cake to impress in the showstopper round.
However, disaster struck during the technical challenge when Noel, 51, engaged in conversation with competitor Nelly, 44, only to send her glass caramel dish tumbling, prompting shocked gasps in the tent.
In the ensuing chaos, Noel frantically enquired: "You didn't need that, did you?" to which Nelly responded: "Yes, I did!" This left Noel exclaiming: "Oh my God! What are we going to do? Have we got time to make some more?"
Remaining positive, Nelly replied: "Yes we do! It's all good, if I'm gonna go home, he will drive me home in posh car!" leading to Noel vacuuming up the shattered glass shards while a calm Nelly observed, reports .
Prior to this, Nelly had already cautioned Noel by stating: "That's my biscuit dough... do not touch, do not destroy!" to which Noel cheekily answered back: "How dare you! I'm like a delicate cat!"

Despite the caramel blunder, Nelly managed to make it through another week in the baking competition. Unfortunately, that meant another contestant's time on the show came to an end, as Mike was eliminated. The farm manager, 29, broke down in tears upon learning the news but admitted: "I feel it was my time to go!"
