Celebrity Big Brother's Bradley Riches brings bridesmaids to tears with surprise pizza party reveal

Celebrity Big Brother's Bradley Riches threw a cheeky surprise bridesmaids' reveal party this Sunday, duping his closest girlfriends into thinking it was just an innocent Italian pizza-making session. Little did they know, Bradley had planned to ask them to be his bridesmaids at his forthcoming nuptials with fiance Scott Johnston in 2026.

Bradley, who popped the question to his beau Scott, a dashing acting agent, amidst a dreamy setting adorned with rose petals on a hotel balcony in Sorrento last May, lured his gal pals to Due Forni in Beaconsfield for what seemed like an afternoon of crafting pizzas and sipping prosecco.

Yet, as Bradley confided to OK! magazine: "I hosted this really fun, memorable pizza-making party with renowned pizza chef Michele Rutigliano to ask my best friends to be my bridesmaids. The surprise was that, while they expected to find pizza ingredients in a box, it actually contained a heartfelt note from me, asking them to be my bridesmaids, along with a picture of us together - there were tears! The young actor, known for his breakout role in Netflix's hit series Heartstoppers, gathered his family; mother Karen, father Julian, alongside sister Amber and his circle of closest friends Emily Barker, Jenna Craig, Megan Rice, Lauren Cockreil, Elle Sayer, Hannah Golding, and Mia Turnerto to unveil their important roles for his wedding day bash with Scott.

Bradley revealed some heartwarming surprises about his wedding plans, saying: "I also asked my sister to be my maid of honour and to top it all off, my dad discovered he will be stepping into the role of my best man, making the day even more special and meaningful."

The star, who won over the nation on this year's Celebrity Big Brother with his infectious enthusiasm and candid discussions about his life as a young gay man with autism, shared his excitement for the big day: "I can't wait to marry Scott. He's my person. We're giving ourselves enough time to make sure it's all perfect, so it's happening in 2026 - and hopefully all my friends from CBB and the cast of Heartstoppers will be there on our special day. It's going to be perfect! ".

Scott, Bradley's fiance, also expressed his eagerness to start planning their wedding as he revealed he was "excited" to start planning the all important big day - but it hadn't been easy keeping their big plans under wraps. He confessed: " It was so hard trying to keep this a secret to the people who are closest in my life, but it paid off. They all accepted straight away thankfully. I wish I had taken my pictures and videos of the event but I think everybody was so in the moment".

The couple, who have been together for four years have only gone from strength to strength since they began dating, and it's clear to see that neither Bradley nor Scott would settle for anything less than perfect when they both say 'I do.'

Bradley went on to say: "We had our proposal which took me months to plan, to make sure it was perfect. Trying to find the right location, then a place for it to happen, the schedule of how it will all run."

Scott then shared: "I wouldn't have been able to do without my besties Holly and Emily because they really were the guinea pigs - setting everything up whilst I was sipping Prosecco on the seafront pretending nothing was happening! It was a moment I will cherish forever and the best thing was, whilst it was happening it was just us two with a gorgeous view of Sorrento with a camera propped up to capture it."
